In EMEA, this senior HR leadership role partners with global senior leadership and regional leadership from London, with the global HQ in Singapore. The position offers global exposure within the People & Talent leadership team and requires maturity and agility to drive transformation and change, gain buy-in from key stakeholders, and understand the business at its core. The role embodies the culture of Ant International and thrives in a global, inclusive, creative, fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, consulting and coaching to the EMEA leaders across all areas of the people function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, rewards & benefits, talent management and development, mobility and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and maintain a highly competent and motivated people team that is effectively interconnected across the region through dedicated people partners, exceptional workplace experience, and efficient People Operations.
  • Drive and conduct organizational analysis including data trends to identify business challenges and develop people strategies to facilitate growth and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with CoE Talent & Acquisition, C&B and Shared Services to achieve business outcomes while considering diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Facilitate organizational design and change management initiatives to optimise functional efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage on issues of organizational design to improve departmental structure, processes and workflows to help teams operate more effectively.
  • Maintain solid ER knowledge and understanding of employment legislation to advise managers and lead ER cases.
  • Review and analyse data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and engagement in client groups.
  • Champion regional culture, drive diversity and support building an inclusive culture across the employee journey, policies and practices.
  • Plan and organise programs and events for employee engagement; cultivate the company’s culture and values across functions and teams in the EMEA region.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive change.
  • Intellectual agility, curiosity and sound judgement with collaborative skills across cultures.
  • Organisational awareness and the ability to navigate a complex matrix environment.
  • Experience working closely with senior leaders, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed.
  • Proactive mindset, always seeking improvements rather than maintaining the status quo.
  • Degree in Business, Human Resources or similar, with minimum 10-15 years of HR experience and at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • UK-based HR experience with a strong understanding of UK employment law; experience in other EMEA countries is an advantage.
