People Director – Leading Restaurant Group

London | Up to £90,000 + Bonus


A leading, fast-growing restaurant group known for its vibrant atmosphere, live entertainment, and authentic dining experiences is hiring a People Director to lead its people strategy through an exciting new phase of growth and expansion.


This is a pivotal senior leadership role for an experienced hospitality HR professional who combines strategic vision with hands-on influence across multi-site operations.


The Role

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead a 400-strong team’s people agenda across multiple high-profile London venues and new openings nationwide.


Your mission is to shape a high-performance culture grounded in hospitality, integrity, and growth.


You will:

  • Design and deliver a group-wide People Strategy that supports business expansion
  • Lead talent acquisition, development, and succession planning across all sites
  • Strengthen leadership capability and embed a culture of accountability
  • Drive engagement, retention, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Oversee reward, performance, and employee relations frameworks
  • Act as a key strategic partner to the Board and senior leadership team


About You

You’re an experienced and confident HR leader with deep roots in hospitality or leisure. You bring a track record of influencing at senior level and building scalable people strategies that enhance both culture and commercial performance.

You will have:

  • Senior HR leadership experience in a multi-site hospitality or retail environment
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice
  • A proven ability to lead through change and growth
  • Genuine passion for developing people and fostering long-term careers
