The Role

As People & Talent Director, you will be responsible for defining and executing the people, culture and talent acquisition strategy for Cisilion. You will lead the People & Talent function, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Team, wider management group and employees to ensure our people practices support our business goals and foster a positive, inclusive and high performing culture.

Candidate Profile

You are a visionary People leader with a strong track record of building and scaling people operations in dynamic environments and in high growth organisations. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are passionate about creating a workplace where employees are encouraged to perform their best and achieve their ambitions. You thrive in fast-paced and challenging environments, and are skilled at aligning People initiatives with business objectives and goals.

You embrace challenges and understand the role of People leadership to navigate growing pains. You are able to articulate People solutions to all levels from junior managers to Senior Leadership

Key Tasks

• Define and own the People & Talent strategy and roadmap, aligned with business goals.
• Work closely with the Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership teams to closely monitor Company headcount from a budgetary, capability and performance perspective.
• Lead and mentor the existing People & Talent team, including Cisilion’s Head of Talent and Senior People Advisor and their respective teams.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to ensure both the People and Talent teams are high performing and achieving overall People & Talent goals.
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership teams to ensure timely and effective people initiatives.
• Partner with managers to drive high performance, employee engagement and development – challenge where necessary to encourage growth mindsets amongst teams and within management groups.
• Engage with employees and stakeholders to gather insights and validate the People & Talent objectives and direction.
• Monitor overall departmental performance and iterate based on data and feedback.
• Champion a culture of inclusivity and employee well-being.

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive innovation and differentiation in our people and talent practices, ensuring we remain competitive in our talent acquisition approach, renumeration and benefits packages and employer branding.
• Ensure alignment between People & Talent initiatives and overall business strategy.
• Maintain key focus on employee engagement to ensure healthy attrition levels are maintained.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure key themes, trends or issues are addressed relating to culture.
• Maintain balanced approach when dealing with People initiatives, ensuring fair practice is at the forefront of all People issues.
• Ensure all HR policy is current and advise stakeholders of key legislative and internal policy changes.

Key Skills

• Proven experience as a Senior People leader in a high growth organisation, with successful examples of leading both HR and recruitment functions.
• Strong leadership, performance management and team-building capabilities.
• Confident with conflict management and strong ability to apply emotional intelligence in all situations – able to adapt approach to different personality types.
• Balanced mind set – ability to use strong listening skills at all levels while remaining balanced and fair, with business objectives at the forefront.
• Deep understanding of People methodologies and best practices.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for metrics and KPIs to drive decisions and people based initiatives.
• Experience in tech, SaaS, or managed services is highly desirable.
