Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced RMN to join our expanding Perinatal Mental Health Team. The posts are available at our Cluster 2 team who cover the areas of Bolton, Wigan, Salford, Bury.

We are seeking a compassionate, person centred individual, with a genuine interest in working with women and birthing people, and their families in the perinatal period, who has excellent communication and multi-agency liaison skills. We offer excellent training opportunities to our staff and provide robust supervision to support delivery of high-quality care.

The Perinatal Service is commissioned to support women and birthing people throughout Greater Manchester, who experience moderate to severe mental health problems during and after pregnancy, and for their infant up to the age of one year. The Perinatal Service provide assessment, care and treatment including the prevention, detection and management of maternal mental health problems that complicate pregnancy and the postpartum year.

Due to the expansive geography of this service, the post holder should hold a valid driving license.
