To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.PositionAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Director’s Admin Team, in a Personal Assistant role based at University Hospital Crosshouse.What You Will DoYou will provide a dedicated, professional and comprehensive PA and administration service to 3 Associate Medical Directors, ensuring an effective, proactive and high standard of support.Knowledge, Training And/Or Experience Required To Do The JobYou will have excellent organisational and communication skills and have the ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team. The ability to work unsupervised whilst using your own initiative is essential, as is being able to work to challenging timescales by organising and prioritising your workload accordingly. Having the flexibility to adapt to change and last-minute demands is essential.You will possess an HND or equivalent in business administration; extensive PA experience within an NHS environment; and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. You should be highly experienced in taking accurate minutes and have excellent interpersonal skills.Hours37 hours per week. This post is offered on a fixed term basis, for 9 months initially, Monday to Friday.UK Driving Licence/Car OwnershipA UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.Additional Information For Overseas CandidatesTo work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country.
