Reports to: Jason Evanko - Technical Support LeadResponsibilitiesSupport ongoing client film projects by building, maintaining, and troubleshooting production pipeline toolsEnsure smooth data movement and show management across different technologies, scripts, and platformsProvide hands-on Linux support, resolving filesystem, permissions, and media-handling issuesCollaborate closely with production, R&D, and creative users to translate needs into scalable technical solutionsMaintain version control, automated builds, and production releases with high reliabilitySafeguard sensitive media through secure pipeline practicesTroubleshoot complex technical issues quickly in a production environmentDocument workflows, tools, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and consistent supportContribute to proof-of-concept work for long-form pipeline development, a key company priorityQualifications2+ years experience in a Pipeline focussed engineering roleUnderstanding of the film post-production pipelineProficiency in PythonAwareness of security requirements when handling sensitive mediaExperience using Linux systems and delivering Linux system-level supportKnowledge of filesystems, permissions, disk management, and Linux interfacingExperience managing software lifecycle, production releases, version control (e.g. Git), and automated buildsStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills in a production environmentProven experience in a support settingAbility to discuss technical issues with creative usersFamiliarity with production/content management and versioning systems (e.g. ShotGrid, Ftrack)Interview ProcessAt Flawless, our team and interview process want to help you show your best self. Our interview process is three rounds with some casual Zoom (or in-person) coffee in between to get to know each other:Hiring Manager Screen: 45 minutes discussing your experience and the role. Ensuring there is strong alignment between what we need, your interests and experience.Coding Interview: 60 minute live technical interview, tackling a common TD related challenge. Your Recruiter OR hiring manager will be your main point of contact and prepare you for interviews. You\'ll meet 4 to 6 people from across the business.
