FD Recruit is partnering a client in Lancashire to engage a portfolio FD to provide  the leadership team with financial oversight and advisory.  This role would suit a CFO, Non Executive Director or Finance Director with experience of providing financial guidance to medium sized, owner managed businesses. The portfolio FD will provide support largely remotely for a few days per month and will have the following responsibilities: Support and mentor the finance team, suggesting improvements to systems and processes. Review monthly management accounts and provide analysis and summary to the leadership team. Provide recommendations to the leadership team to drive efficiencies and business performance. Mentor new leaders within the business to ensure there is financial awareness. To be successful in this engagement the portfolio Finance Director will have the following experience: CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified finance professional preferred. Experience in a finance leadership position within owner managed businesses. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to translate financial data and provide recommendations to ensure sound commercial decision making. Excellent team leading and mentoring experience. Strong systems experience.
