The NHP, launched in October 2020, aims to build and refurbish hospitals across the UK, improving access to modern healthcare. Following a strategic review in September 2024, the government has rebalanced hospital schemes with secured funding in five-year waves. As part of the next phase of mobilisation we are recruiting a Post Contract – Estimating and Cost Management Associate Director to support the Director leading the post contract estimating & cost management team, helping the organisation make informed decisions. This role is dedicated to support scheme delivery post Full Business Case approval with cost management in order to maintain control of the approved baseline including cost assessments of change, supporting resolution of commercial matters, risk review and verification of data.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for scheme cost assurance and maintaining comprehensive understanding of cost performanceEstablish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaborationEngage with Trusts, their respective Cost Consultants and Contractors to build and maintain robust cost management and reportingSupport business case review including input to NHP governanceSupport Delivery Project Leads in the verification of scheme cost status and reportingContribute to change control including the cost assessment of changesSupport Trusts in the adoption and adherence to NHP cost management requirements and policiesQualificationsTeam leadership and managementPolicy implementation and complianceEffective communication and collaborationExcel skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
