The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service, timely delivery of projects, and high-quality standards in all aspects of print and direct mail production.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Act as the primary contact for all inquiries, concerns, and project updates.Project Coordination: Oversee the full project lifecycle for print and direct mail campaigns, from initial concept to final delivery. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and quality control.Quote and Proposal Creation: Prepare detailed quotes where required with support from commercial team members, ensuring that all client needs are met within budgetary constraints.Order Management: Process and track client orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery. Collaborate with internal teams, including production, data processing, postage, and logistics, to meet client expectations.Problem-Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, proactively finding solutions to ensure client satisfaction and project success.Vendor Management: Where required work closely with third-party vendors to ensure the highest quality and cost-effective solutions for clients.Sales Support: Identify opportunities for additional business within existing accounts. Support the sales team in growing accounts and generating new business.Reporting & Analysis: Provide forecast view of monthly activity including a 3-month horizon based on managed client accounts. Manage and create client Management Information reports tailored to client specification using business tools.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all final products meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards. Work with production teams to review and approve proofs, samples, and final print runs.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in account management, preferably in the print and direct mail industry.Strong knowledge of print production processes, direct mail campaigns, and postal regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships effectively.Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Preferred QualificationsExperience in print production and direct mail automation.
