Provide a range of tax services, managing a private client portfolio, specialising in personal tax across a mix of compliance and advisory work Identify tax sensitive expenditure and wider tax issues Liaise with clients to resolve queries Communicate with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met and oversee client portfolios to meet HMRC deadlines Assist in managing the Private Client Tax team, encouraging ideas and collaboration, conduct appraisals and provide coaching to support the development of team skills and knowledge and continually improve the quality and delivery of work Monitor your own utilisation, productivity and WIP Confident in providing guidance and feedback to others in the team
What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant or tax professional, CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent. You will need to demonstrate that you have managed a client portfolio, and you will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax and legislation, be proficient with advisory and tax planning work. What you'll get in return You will receive a salary dependent on experience up to £80,000. Flexible working options available and only 2 days in the office are required.
