Private Client Tax Director – Top 20 Firm – City. Are you a Private Client Tax Director or Senior Manager who enjoys advisory work and business development? Our client, a leading Top 20 firm based in the City, is seeking to recruit a Private Client Tax Director to support the growth of their Private Client Tax team with a headcount of around 20. The role will have a strong business development focus and will lean more towards the advisory side. The client base includes HNWIs (including well-known names within the sports and entertainment industries) as well as entrepreneurs with a strong financial services focus. This role is suitable if you have a solid background in business development and advisory work but do not want to be responsible for staff management, as that is handled by other team members.

Responsibilities

• As a Private Client Tax Director you will be/have:
• Manage and grow a private client tax advisory portfolio with a focus on business development
• Maintain and develop relationships with HNWIs, directors of owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, non-UK domiciled individuals and non-resident clients
• Provide extensive personal tax advisory services and handle complex client situations
• Engage with complex client relationships to deliver high-quality advisory support

Qualifications

• CTA or ACA or (STEP) qualified
• Over 9 years’ Personal Tax experience
• Experience working on a varied, large portfolio of clients including directors of owner-managed businesses, HNWIs, entrepreneurs, non-UK domiciled individuals and non-resident clients
• Extensive personal tax advisory experience
• Experience with complex clients and managing client relationships
• Proven business development skills
