Private Client Tax Director – Top 20 Firm – City

Are you a Private Client Tax Director or Senior Manager who enjoys advisory work and business development?

Our client, a leading Top 20 firm based in the City, is seeking to recruit a Private Client Tax Director to support the growth of their Private Client Tax team with a headcount of around 20. The role will have a strong business development focus and will lean more towards the advisory side.

Responsibilities

• Work on a varied, large portfolio of private client tax work with a focus on advisory-style delivery.
• Develop and nurture client relationships with HNWIs, entrepreneurs and other high-net-worth individuals, including directors of owner-managed businesses, non-UK domiciled individuals and non-resident clients.
• Lead business development activities to grow the Private Client Tax practice within the firm.
• Collaborate with other team members where staff management is provided by others, driving the success of the business unit.

Qualifications

• CTA or ACA or STEP qualification.
• Over 9 years of Personal Tax experience.
• Experience working on a varied, large portfolio of clients including directors of owner-managed businesses, HNWIs, entrepreneurs, non-UK domiciled individuals and non-resident clients.
• Extensive personal tax advisory experience.
• Experience with complex clients and managing client relationships.
• Proven business development skills.
