Clark Wood is thrilled to collaborate with a prestigious regional firm in Chesterfield, which is expanding its Private Client team due to internal growth and recent acquisitions. We are seeking a Private Client Director to join this dynamic team.

This renowned firm has an excellent reputation across Chesterfield and South Yorkshire, making this a key appointment during an exciting period of growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational aspects of the private client tax planning team, including team development and overall strategy.
• Provide comprehensive private client tax advice, covering:
  • Estate/Inheritances Tax (IHT) reviews and bespoke, complex planning to mitigate IHT exposures.
  • Implementation and management of trust planning.
  • Preparation of Wills.
  • Property tax planning.
  • Offshore aspects (optional).
  • Residency and domicile issues for high-net-worth individuals (HNWs).
  • Estate administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience advising on inheritance tax and trusts.
• Ability to sign off on estate administration assignments in the medium term.
