About the team

Due to strong growth, we are recruiting an Audit Director for our Privately Owned Business team in Bristol. You will support local and national partners to develop this audit team, client offerings, and contribute to our strategic growth. You will work closely with clients, providing exceptional audit services.

About the role

• Lead the client service management team on audit strategy and planning.
• Serve as a technical expert, advising and leading the audit team and clients.
• Maintain control and stability under pressure, recognizing deadlines and urgency.
• Present audit opinions and reporting documents, including group reports and audit committee papers.
• Identify opportunities for new business and growth.

What are we looking for?

• Extensive experience leading external audits and managing client portfolios.
• ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified.
• Experience managing diverse audit clients across sectors.
• Experience at Director level with aspirations to become a Partner.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
• Proven success in winning new business.
