Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Principal Product Manager to lead the development of AI and machine learning-based solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our AI product portfolio, translating complex technologies into impactful business applications. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders in data science, engineering, customer success, and business leadership to deliver innovative AI capabilities that solve real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI applications and capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end product development for complex AI solutions, including LLM-based and ML-based products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical product requirements.
  • Prioritise product features and decisions based on business impact, technical feasibility, and user needs.
  • Apply product frameworks and decision-making models to ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Conduct market and user research to identify opportunities and validate product direction.
  • Own product performance metrics and iterate based on feedback and data insights.
  • Champion responsible and ethical AI practices throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare and lead case study evaluations during the hiring process to assess candidate fit.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building AI/ML products, ideally from zero to one.
  • Strong technical understanding of AI systems, including architecture, data pipelines, and model integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders across CS, tech, data science, and business leadership.
  • Experience applying product management frameworks in technical environments.
  • Ability to break down complex problems, prioritise effectively, and drive clarity in decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in product management with a focus on AI; engineering experience is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS/Azure/GCP, and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field.
  • 5+ years in product management, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML solutions.
  • Experience in launching AI products that achieved strong adoption and business impact.
  • Understanding of ethical and regulatory considerations in AI development.
