Overview

Reporting into our Domain Product Owner, you will be part of a delivery team working on the development of products that combine technology and outcomes, allowing people to share their current account transactional data and blend it with credit information insights to receive a clear picture of their financial circumstances and commitments. You will also facilitate the integration and support the offer of our data science products through the different cloud vendor marketplaces. Our Tech: We're a proud .NET house using a rich mixture of the tools and features. We're using .Net Core in all new services and are always keen to evaluate new features to see if we can take advantage of them. We use multiple testing and quality techniques, and our services are pushed through our environments using DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an agile team to develop quality solutions
  • Collaborate to enhance the full product lifecycle
  • Take Epics provided by the Product Manager and break them down into User Stories
  • Confirm acceptance criteria have been met for completed stories
  • Lead refinement and pointing sessions
  • Backlog prioritisation, refinement and management
  • Sprint Planning
  • Experience of the full development lifecycle and Agile ceremonies
  • Explain solutions to all audiences
  • The ability to write clear user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria
  • Analyse problems and requirements
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA and AHA
  • Excellent Epic and story writing experience and documentation skills
  • Experience with application security principles in web applications
  • Experience with various development languages and the ability to understand code
  • Knowledge of SQL and an understanding of relational databases
  • Knowledge of how a microservice or SOA architecture functions

Qualifications

  • Experience with the full development lifecycle and Agile ceremonies
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience with application security principles in web applications
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Understanding of microservices or SOA architectures
