We are a meritocratic, high-performance business focused on growth and digital performance marketing.OverviewWe are looking for a Programmatic Business Director to join a pivotal role within our team across international brands in the retail market. The role offers a mix of strategy, management and business development to support the growth of our programmatic and display services globally. The role defines programmatic and display strategy, develops new client relationships and oversees the activation of campaigns. We have an integrated display team that plans and activates across a broad spectrum of channels. The role reports to the Head of Display + Search.ResponsibilitiesAct as the senior point of contact for programmatic across a portfolio of clients, assuming ultimate responsibility for all implemented programs and managing escalationsLine management of programmatic traders, and mentoring and support of the wider display team in programmatic campaign planningAct as the strategic lead in programmatic, working with ADs, AMs, and Planners to define frameworks that hit client KPIs and business objectivesOverseeing all elements of the delivery, optimisation and reporting of programmatic campaigns to ensure market-leading executionWork with the Head of Display and Sales Team to develop and deliver pitches, with a view to grow global programmatic servicesCross-selling display to Assembly's existing client base by proactively identifying opportunities with other Business DirectorsAct as an internal expert on emerging trends, technologies and opportunities in programmatic; nurture publisher and Ad tech partner relationshipsCollaborate with the Head of Display, Ad Tech Lead, Data Scientists and Assembly Developers to develop innovative programmatic solutions and new productsRequired SkillsSenior client handling and relationship management experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal client and publisher relationship managementWide knowledge and understanding of the programmatic landscapeProgrammatic trading & planning experienceAdditional experience running or managing digital marketing activity across other channels (e.g. PPC, SEO) is beneficialDemonstrable experience delivering best-in-class digital campaigns (e.g., winning industry awards)Management of activity across international markets is preferred but not requiredEqual OpportunitiesAssembly is an advocate for equal opportunity in the workplace.
