As a Programme Director at EKC Group you will plan a highly relevant and distinctive curriculum to meet local/regional skills requirements, and the needs of the student, in liaison with the department leadership team to support outstanding progression for students. Salary: there are two salary scale points for Programme Director positions. All candidates start at the introductory salary scale point unless criteria are met. Employees can move up the salary scale after completing one full academic year as a Programme Director, subject to approval. Internal applicants may qualify for the higher salary scale, subject to clarification.

You will be highly organised, creative and able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress, to plan intervention, will be a vital part of the role and ensure all students develop the skills they need to succeed. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference to the future careers of our students, providing academic leadership and guidance in this area and managing the curriculum delivery and accreditation. Teaching and vocational experience is essential and strong leadership skills are desirable. This is the ideal opportunity for a proven teacher or lecturer to progress their career to the next stage as you will oversee the curriculum provision from the beginning, building relationships with key stakeholders as well as delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment. It is a requirement for teaching experience and qualified teacher status for this position.
