Program Leadership
Shape and deliver the complex programme of work and ensure its impact on quality of patient care and service delivery. Develop a comprehensive communication and engagement plan to keep all stakeholders, local and national, fully appraised on progress and challenges. Oversee the development of an effective outcomes framework, working closely with colleagues in performance and DDaT. Oversee regular reporting and assurance, ensuring expected benefits of the programme are clearly articulated and delivered. Develop proposals for new models of care and ensure an integrated approach to all plans within UEC, e.g. integrating audit actions into an overarching plan.

The Programme Director is responsible for the implementation of the allocated programme across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering complex multi‑million pound healthcare programmes that impact the quality of patient care and service delivery across the organisation.
The transformation and strategic planning directorate offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced health care leader to take on the role of Programme Director for Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC). This role requires an exceptional leader with vision and drive to deliver short‑term priorities while shaping medium to long‑term configuration of services and new models of care. The successful candidate will couple a strong understanding of operational challenges within UEC with excellent programme management skills and the ability to implement structured programmes of work within a governed model.
You will have substantial experience in clinical engagement with advanced communication and influencing skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
