York Street are partnering one of the world’s leading international lodging owner-operators, with a global presence spanning over 40 countries. They manage a diverse portfolio of serviced apartments, co-living spaces, and hotel brands on behalf of its investment funds.

As part of a small, focused team in Europe, we’re looking for someone to take the lead on projects in the UK and Ireland. With increasing activity in renovations and new developments longer-term, this role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to shape the guest experience through thoughtful, high-quality project delivery.

You’d be overseeing everything from defining the scope of works to appointing designers and contractors, working closely with internal teams such as operations and maintenance. The role is hands-on and technically involved, so a background in architecture or engineering can be especially valuable. What matters most is a solid understanding of how buildings come together, and an ability to translate that into clear, actionable plans that are able to be understood by those without a technical background.

Experience in the hotel sector is naturally a plus, although those from residential or retail environments who understand the end-user’s priorities could also be suitable.
