Project Director - Data Centres | London (hybrid) | Competitive salary + package | Full-time permanent position

Lead flagship data centre projects with a forward-thinking consultancy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading large-scale data centre projects from early strategy through to completion and aftercare
  • Acting as the senior point of contact for key clients, building trust and long-term partnerships
  • Overseeing all aspects of delivery - programme, cost, quality, risk and compliance
  • Driving best practice in technical delivery, health & safety, and sustainability
  • Working closely with fellow Directors to shape and deliver wider business objectives
  • Building, mentoring and leading a high-performing specialist team
  • Supporting business development and securing new commissions in the data centre sector

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking an influential, technically strong and commercially astute leader with extensive experience in delivering major data centre schemes. You’ll combine deep sector expertise with the vision, energy and leadership skills to grow a market-leading service.

Key requirements:

  • Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or similar)
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale data centre projects in the UK or internationally
  • Strong technical knowledge across design, procurement, construction management and commissioning
  • Excellent client interface and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to inspire, mentor and develop a growing team
  • Strategic thinker with the drive to build and expand a service line
  • Clear understanding of contracts, procurement routes and risk management
