Project Director - Design & Build (Workplace)

The Shore Group have partnered with a fast-growing, Design & Build Office Fit-Out Contractor to identify and appoint a high-calibre Project Director to join their growth and working winning team. This is a highly client-centric position, empowering you to lead every stage of the project journey. Working closely with pre-construction, design, and business development teams, the successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless experience from initial brief to project handover.

Due to the nature of the position, you will ideally match the following:
Experience within a leading D&B environment, focused on commercial office fit-out Experience engaging with C-suite stakeholders and translating business needs into deliverable design briefs Proven ability to develop new client relationships and manage existing accounts to foster repeat business A strong personal track record of securing and delivering projects with a combined annual value of £5m+ Comfortable leading across multiple concurrent projects with agility and precision
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the business development team to identify and qualify new project opportunities Strategically decipher potential sales opportunities ensuring proper qualification prior to bid commencement Lead early-stage client engagements, including tender and pitch processes Oversee the translation of client requirements into cohesive design and commercial proposals Support the development of cost plans alongside pre-construction teams Key point of liaison for communication to the client Responsible for presenting the solution and design scheme to the client Drive and manage client negotiations with confidence, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and seamless project closure
