Project Director – Infrastructure Project Management

We are looking for high calibre leaders to support our clients deliver a wide range of high-profile projects across Infrastructure. As a Project Director, you would be working to help us make a difference with our clients, delivering a diverse range of highly complex projects and programmes.

Project Directors at Turner & Townsend work on business initiatives and lead delivery, at all lifecycle stages, on a broad range of projects and programmes across public and private sectors. We are looking for individuals with significant experience managing multiple disciplines, exceptional leadership skills, and a practical understanding of CDM.

• Significant experience managing multiple disciplines / teams / advisors / clients on high value / complex / politically challenging infrastructure projects/programmes.
• Exceptional leadership skills, capable of setting high standards and managing performance.
• Leads, sets commission strategies, and is accountable for the health, safety, and wellbeing of those within your sphere of responsibility.
• Shape the future vision and direction of the business and commissions, driving innovation and sustainability.
• Promoter of inclusive teamwork, building and fostering trust with empathy, diving a ‘one business’ collaboration mindset.
• Foster client and industry partnerships, developing and growing relationships to transform performance together.

Beneficial experience includes complex and multiple forms of procurement, managing NEC contracts, and experience of highly regulated environments. Preferable qualifications include a degree level qualification in a management, construction or infrastructure related subject, professional affiliation with the APM, ICE, or equivalent, and project management certification.

• Experience of complex and multiple forms of procurement and managing NEC contracts.
• Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projects and programmes.
• Experience of highly regulated environments.
• Degree level qualification in a management, construction or infrastructure related subject.
• Professional affiliation with the APM, ICE, or equivalent.
• Project management certification.
