Are you ready to shape the renewable energy landscape across Europe? Our client, a fast-growing and innovative leader in the wind, solar, and sustainable energy space, is seeking a Project Director to lead the delivery of high-impact renewable infrastructure projects across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full project lifecycle for utility-scale renewable energy projects – from development through to commissioning and handover.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary project teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and finance.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement with regulators, local authorities, suppliers, and investors across Europe.
  • Ensure delivery on time, on budget, and in line with quality and sustainability targets.
  • Drive innovation, safety, and best practices across all project activities.
  • Report directly to the Executive Board, with responsibility for strategic planning and commercial outcomes.

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager in the renewable energy sector (wind, solar, or related).
  • Strong technical background with the ability to lead complex, multi-country projects.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to manage budgets exceeding £100M+.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across project sites and offices in Europe.
