Job Description

As a Project Director for the Scottish division, you will be the lead and drive larger sites being released. You will work with the Pre‑Construction team developing the programme, gaining sign‑off before taking the project on to site and through to handback to the client.

Managing the Client, Design Consultancies, Sub‑Contractors and your own direct workforce, you lead the Technical, Commercial and Operations for the scheme, supported by an Engineering Manager, Commercial Manager and Project Manager.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversight, directing direct and indirect teams and supporting Sub‑Contractors on site.
  • Review project plans and specifications.
  • Work with the Commercial Manager to oversee overall project finances, reviewing and managing budgets to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Manage internal stakeholders and client expectations.
  • Report on project variations and risk mitigation.

Required Experience

  • Formal qualification – HNC / HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Proven project experience delivering a £10m+ civil engineering project as the number 1 on site.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Living in Scotland on a full‑time basis.
