Senior Project Manager / Project Director – Cat A Office Fit-Out & Refurbishment

Up to £120,000 + Comprehensive Package

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director to lead the delivery of a prestigious £15 million, 30,000 sq ft Cat A office fit-out and refurbishment project in Reading. This high-spec commercial scheme includes full mechanical & electrical (M&E) upgrades, a new roof, and extensive interior and exterior refurbishment.

The Role

As the Project Lead, you’ll be responsible for:

• Full project lifecycle delivery, from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Managing all site operations, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery.
• Liaising with client-side stakeholders, consultants, and design teams.
• Driving health & safety, quality, and programme performance.
• Collaborating closely with commercial and design managers to manage cost, risk, and change control.

About You

• Proven experience delivering complex commercial fit-out & refurbishment projects, ideally £10m+ in value.
• Solid understanding of Cat A office standards, structural refurbishment, roofing, and M&E installations.
• Track record of managing site teams and delivering projects to high standards under pressure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualified.
