Contract Opportunity – Project Director (London)

Location: London (On-site with some hybrid flexibility)

Contract: 12 months+ (potential extension)

Day Rate: Highly Competitive (Inside / Outside IR35 – depending on role)

We’re partnering with a leading construction and property consultancy overseeing major commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments across London. They are seeking an accomplished Project Director to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of high-value, complex projects.

Role Overview

As Project Director, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership across all project phases, from planning to completion.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality targets are met.
• Oversee contractor selection, procurement, and contract management.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
• Drive risk management, change control, and programme optimisation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale construction projects (£50m+).
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills at senior level.
• Proven track record in complex commercial or mixed-use developments.
• Chartered status (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) preferred.
• Available to start at short notice.
