Project Director

Located at TBA, North Gower Street, London, NW1 2ND. Official working office hours are from 9 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

The role:

The Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the planning, management, and

financial control of all TBA projects within the brand division. They will ensure that the scope and

direction of each project is on schedule and ensure that the desired result is achieved and the most efficient resources are used. Reporting to the Managing Director, they will proactively and frequently communicate with the Project Managers, Producers, Creatives, and Account Directors as needed. The Project Director will oversee the development, production and delivery of multiple projects across accounts from proposal right up to delivery and reconciliation.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Team management

• Act as the strategic and escalation point of contact for the Project Management team
• Mentor and develop the team, direct them in finding creative solutions to both client and internal challenges, and encourage knowledge sharing across all disciplines internally to
• ensure collaborative and informed work
• Encourage a productive and empowering working environment whilst balancing other
• business priorities
• Provide team with all necessary tools and training to improve core expertise and enable continued career growth
• Assist Project Managers to direct complex large-scale client engagements

Client relationship management

• Present the company and its interests in the best light, both internally and externally
• Establish strong relationships across the client base
• Lead multiple projects at once and ensure strong integration across the company
• Lead new business efforts, including pitch writing and presenting
• Educate clients and influence to sell strategic and creative solutions
• Monitor and manage account profitability above margin targets

Project management

• Track and manage project timelines with team and clients as directed
• Maintain consistent and thorough communication with all parties involved in projects
• Oversee signage/graphic and décor development, copy, creation, and placement
• Ensure the organisation of accommodation, catering, staffing, and transportation (as required)
• Oversee all crew logistics
• Create and manage budgets, taking responsibility for supplier invoice/expense tracking and final reconciliation
• Negotiate contracts/agreements with third-party suppliers
• Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Business management

• Update the business as necessary in company meetings and Leadership team meetings
• Ensure that necessary procedures are carried out, recording client actions and decisions and updating Procim
• Run weekly team and client meetings
• Develop and attain accurate quarterly and annual revenue forecasts for every account
• Present weekly performance report

Essential skills/qualifications:

• Experience within an agency environment
• A thorough understanding of budgets and reconciliation (budget handling of £100k +) - basic knowledge of Procim an advantage
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a can-do positive attitude and ability to use common sense
• Driven, confident, and articulate
• A driven leader, willing to get stuck in to managing and inspiring the Project Management team
• Ability to juggle day-to-day tasks and prioritise workloads across multiple projects
• Good operational awareness – understanding of the daily functions of the role and how TBA operates
• Knowledge of where to find resources and who to reach out to in order to complete tasks and gain information
• Strong leadership and team management skills
