We are working on behalf of a fast-growing Insurtech TPA who are looking for a Property Claims Director to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join as a Property Claims Director, heading up a team of professionals and shaping the future of claims management.
As a Property Claims Director, you’ll lead a team of claims specialists handling a diverse portfolio of agriculture and property claims. Using your expertise, leadership skills, and a tech-driven mindset, you’ll drive operational excellence, deliver outstanding client service, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing a team of claims professionals across agriculture and property.
* Driving performance, achieving operational targets, and exceeding client expectations.
* Implementing best practice claims handling processes (intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery).
* Analysing claims data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Acting as escalation point for complex or disputed claims, ensuring effective resolution.
* Overseeing reserving practices, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal/regulatory standards.
* Building strong relationships with farmers, landowners, brokers, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
* Attracting, training, and developing a high-performing, collaborative team.
* Partnering with internal teams to improve systems, processes, and client outcomes.
Previous Skills & Experience:
* Minimum Dip CII (or working towards).
* 10+ years in insurance claims management (property, agriculture, liability, or motor with bodily injury preferred) and at least 6 years’ leadership experience.
* Comfortable using and evolving claims systems to boost efficiency and outcomes.
* A natural leader who values collaboration, empathy, and professional development.
* Able to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on detail.
