Job Opportunity: Associate Director - Property Management

Location: Leeds (with portfolio coverage across the North)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Associate Director to join our dynamic Property Management team based in Leeds. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio commercial properties across the North of England.

This is a hands-on role requiring immediate ownership of your portfolio, with a focus on delivering high-quality property management services and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for a portfolio commercial sites including key clients.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and manage follow-up actions.
  • Liaise with internal teams including lease advisory, building consultancy, and rural specialists.
  • Maintain and update lease/tenancy schedules.
  • Manage income arrears and recovery processes.
  • Prepare and present reports for client meetings.
  • Oversee due diligence for acquisitions and disposals.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and property management standards.

What we need from you:

  • Degree-qualified, MRICS preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in commercial property management.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord & tenant law.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for site visits).

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., TRAMPS, Yardi, Meridian, RiskWise).
  • Financial acumen including budgeting, arrears recovery, and service charge management.
  • Technologically savvy and process-driven.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior staff.
