Role Overview
The Regional Director provides strategic and operational leadership across a defined region, ensuring schools meet development plans, achieve group-wide expectations, and deliver excellent outcomes. This fixed-term role strengthens regional leadership capacity, focusing on quality, safeguarding, staff wellbeing, financial performance, and growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage schools within the region.
*
Drive improvement in quality, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
*
Monitor financial performance, budgets, and sustainability targets.
*
Support, challenge, and develop school leaders, promoting accountability.
*
Embed OFG values, policies, and frameworks.
*
Lead and support change initiatives.
*
Strengthen communication and collaboration between schools and central services.
*
Represent OFG externally to stakeholders and commissioners.
Person Specification
Essential:
*
Senior leadership experience in education or regulated multi-site environments.
*
Proven ability to manage and improve performance across multiple services.
*
Strong financial and operational acumen.
*
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Desirable:
*
Knowledge of Ofsted or other regulatory frameworks.
*
Experience managing change or growth programmes.
*
Collaboration with external partners or commissioners.
