Role Summary and Impact: We are seeking a talented and driven Media Planning Director to join our OpenDoor Strategy & Planning team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in crafting communications plans that inspire and deliver results for our clients in the ever-evolving entertainment landscape. You will be the voice of the consumer, translating insights into actionable strategies that drive business growth. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive customer journeys, uncovering compelling brand narratives, and building the blueprint for effective media plan development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive media plans and customer journeys for entertainment-focused client work.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated communications plans.

Skills And Experience

  • Experienced media professional with advanced understanding of media channels, channel ecosystems and planning best practices.
  • Advanced understanding of Purchase Journey thinking and planning across all client work; proficient in internal and external tools to analyze the consumer and opportunities.
  • Expert overview of the EU media market landscape, trends, and relationships with media owners.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior within media, particularly for entertainment marketing.
  • Ability to simplify complex data and translate insights into clear written narratives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence decisions.
  • Passion for innovation and challenging the status quo with a positive approach.
  • Depth of knowledge of both digital and traditional media channels and how to deploy them in campaigns.
