Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored strategies aligned with market demands and Barclays’ long-term objectives.
  • Engage as a customer-facing professional who can influence, connect, and lead across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research, identify leads, and develop proposals, presentations, and negotiated contracts.
  • Collaborate with relationship teams, product managers, credit analysts, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of banking products and services.
  • Understand clients’ financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance; analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design customized solutions from Barclays’ portfolio to meet clients’ specific needs and objectives.
  • Communicate value propositions, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms beneficial for both client and bank.

Essential Skills / Qualifications

  • Strong business development experience.
  • Proven track record of executing a successful business strategy.
  • Established business network within relevant markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across internal and external communities.

Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent exposure to target market sectors.
  • Experience in commercial lending.
