Sister companies, Size Group and Walter Lilly are seeking a SHEQ Director to join their shared team on a full-time, permanent basis, working as part of their parent company, Wize Holdings.

The Role
As SHEQ Director, you will lead the development and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures across all projects. Youll ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of safety and quality throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee SHEQ strategy aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements. - Conduct site visits across London and the South of England to monitor compliance and support project teams. - Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions. - Champion best practices in health, safety, environmental sustainability, and quality assurance. - Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to SHEQ teams and site staff. - Liaise with external bodies, clients, and stakeholders on SHEQ matters.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior SHEQ leadership role within the construction industry. - In-depth, comprehensive knowledge of UK health & safety legislation, environmental regulations, and quality standards. - Willingness and ability to travel regularly to sites across the South of England. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO standards). - Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
