The Simmance Partnership Limited seeks an exceptional Sales Director to lead in the FMCG grocery sector in the UK. The role requires an entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in the grocery and food & beverage manufacturing space, capable of delivering a refreshed view on sales strategy and portfolio management, and able to inspire and lead teams at the highest level.

As a Senior member of the Commercial team, you will lead the development of a strategic, market-leading portfolio with a focus on growth across both mature and new brands. You will bring a commanding presence at the customer table, a passion for brands and consumerism, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative, ambitious approach that drives results.

The role demands real conviction, energy, and a drive to build a lasting legacy, with opportunities for promotion and substantial financial reward.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a purposeful, highly strategic portfolio reset programme for a market-leading, branded portfolio.
  • Drive new developments across the market to support growth in the UK FMCG grocery sector.
  • Provide strong leadership and a compelling voice at the customer table, with an emphasis on brand equity and consumer insights.
  • Manage and motivate teams to achieve ambitious targets and sustain performance.

  • Experience in leading strategic initiatives, with the ability to navigate a tough trading environment.
