Sales Director - Structural Steel Projects
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and grow our business development function in the hot rolled structural steel sector, with a particular focus on delivering high-value projects into Tier 1 contractors across the UK.
This is a senior, strategic role where you will be responsible for shaping our sales strategy, developing major accounts, and driving revenue growth. You'll bring strong relationships within the main contracting sector, a deep understanding of steel structures, and a proven track record of winning complex, high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting Tier 1 contractors and large developers. Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders. Identify, bid, and secure opportunities for major hot rolled steel projects. Lead the sales pipeline from enquiry through to contract close, ensuring profitability and commercial alignment. Collaborate with estimating, design, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client experience. Provide leadership to the sales/business development team, setting KPIs and driving performance. Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client presentations.About You
