Beesou is a bold new player in the premium aperitif category, an 11% ABV, all-natural honey-based aperitif crafted in the UK, already making waves with its unique flavour profile and design-led positioning. As we move into our next phase of growth, we are seeking a Sales Director to take Beesou to the next level in the UK and, critically, in international markets, across the on-trade and retail sectors.

This is a start-up mindset, high-impact role for someone ready to build and execute a global sales strategy from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Beesou’s sales strategy across the UK, EU, and USA.
  • Build, manage, and scale a sales team to deliver consistent growth.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts worldwide.
  • Set ambitious growth targets in collaboration with the Founders and Board.
  • Expand into new territories with a focus on Europe and North America.
  • Oversee sales P&L, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with marketing to strengthen brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to maximise profitability.
  • Represent Beesou at key industry events, trade shows, and tastings.

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years’ experience in senior sales roles within premium spirits/drinks.
  • Proven success in opening and scaling international markets, especially USA and EU.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and growing sales teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation and partnership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Established network of distributors, retail, and trade contacts.
