An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced scientific leader to take on the role of Scientific Director – Immunoassay, leading a talented Immunoassay Method Development team.

This is a senior position with the scope to shape scientific strategy, mentor skilled scientists, and ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality bioanalytical methods within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities: Lead and inspire the Immunoassay Method Development team, ensuring best practices and scientific rigour across all activities. Act as a core member of the Bioanalysis leadership team, contributing to strategic direction and continuous improvement. Oversee all active immunoassay method development projects, ensuring delivery to client expectations. Provide scientific mentorship and oversight, ensuring methods are robust, validated, and fit-for-purpose. Support business development by advising on client proposals, attending scientific meetings, and presenting scientific expertise externally. Champion innovation, efficiency and scientific excellence across the department and wider organisation.
