Overview

Our client, a globally established and fast-growing adtech company, is seeking a Senior Account Director to lead and grow relationships across the WPP Group.

This is a pivotal sales role, responsible for driving revenue, deepening partnerships, and ensuring our client remains front of mind across WPP – from senior decision-makers through to day-to-day contacts.

The Role

• Own and manage strategic relationships across WPP’s UK agencies (with particular strength required on the UK side), while also engaging with global teams.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, driving revenue growth.
• Act as a trusted partner, ensuring consistent communication, regular meetings, and proactive engagement at all levels.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet client needs.
• Represent the business externally, reinforcing its position as a leader in digital and adtech innovation.

About You

• Proven track record of digital/adtech sales into WPP, with demonstrable revenue success.
• Deep understanding of the inner workings of WPP – both structure and culture – with strong existing senior-level and day-to-day contacts across the group.
• Strong network and credibility within the UK media agency landscape, ideally complemented by global experience.
• Strategic, commercially driven, and confident operating at C-suite level while also nurturing daily client relationships.
• Candidates may come from an agency background, provided they have the right mix of sales acumen and WPP knowledge.
