More About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Director (or Senior Associate-level) with deep expertise in Beauty and FMCG to join our award-winning Consumer practice on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role sits at the heart of some of our most exciting global and regional accounts — including massive haircare and beauty brands!
You will be responsible for leading day-to-day client relationships, developing standout creative strategies, and overseeing the seamless delivery of integrated PR campaigns. The ideal candidate will bring strong big-brand and big-agency experience, a passion for beauty and cultural trends, and a strong understanding of both traditional media and the fast-evolving influencer and creator economy.
What You’ll Do
- Client Leadership & Service
- Lead day-to-day client communications and relationship management across multiple high-profile beauty and FMCG brands.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment to brand objectives.
- Campaign Strategy & Delivery
- Oversee the planning and execution of integrated campaigns — from product launches to long-term brand storytelling.
- Develop culturally relevant creative strategies in collaboration with in-house channel and insights experts.
- Team Management
- Manage and mentor a team of up to 5 PR professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure best-in-class work.
- Foster a positive team culture, encouraging growth, collaboration, and accountability.
- Influencer & Talent Relations
- Lead influencer and creator strategy, engagement, and execution across campaigns — from micro to marquee partnerships.
- Manage contracts, negotiations, and compliance to ensure brand alignment and legal accuracy.
- 7+ years’ experience in consumer PR, ideally within a large agency or global brand environment.
- Deep knowledge of the Beauty industry — including media, influencers, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong background in FMCG communications, with a proven ability to deliver impactful, fast-paced campaigns.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, budgeting, and delivery.
- Natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-moving, ideas-led environment.
- Culturally connected, creatively driven, and confident navigating complex client needs.
