The Role
We are seeking a confident and experienced Senior Account Manager or Account Director to take ownership of key accounts and drive commercial growth through outstanding relationship management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a proven background in delivering data collection solutions to research agencies or consultancies.
This is not a hand-holding role, we’re looking for someone who is proactive, strategic, and able to drive revenue independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing accounts with leading research agencies and consultancies
- Activate and develop new relationships across the industry
- Act as the key operational and strategic link between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution and clear communication in the delivery of online fieldwork and data collection solutions; work closely with our operations team to support clients effectively and deliver the highest standard of service
- Provide strategic input on proposals and feasibility assessments
- Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline forecasting
- Support sales administration, invoicing coordination, and project tracking
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve client outcomes and internal efficiency
- Bring a consultative mindset to client conversations focused on long-term growth, not just transactional sales
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years’ commercial experience in the market research industry, with a strong background in data collection / fieldwork services
- Must have directly provided data collection services to market research agencies or consultancies in a previous role
- Strong account management experience with a commercial mindset
- Comfortable managing key accounts independently
- Experience working in a start-up or fast-growing environment is a plus
- Familiarity with online fieldwork operations and feasibility estimation
- Strong communication and proposal-writing skills
- Solid understanding of sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM best practices
- Highly organised, adaptable, and self-motivated
