An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Rural Surveyor to join a leading land management and consultancy team based in Cambridge. This is a senior-level role offering a blend of estate management and professional advisory work, supporting some of the most prestigious rural clients in the region.

The Role

As a key member of the team, you'll act as principal agent for a selection of estate clients, delivering strategic advice and overseeing day-to-day asset management. You'll also contribute to business development and team leadership, helping to shape the future of the consultancy offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead estate and farming business reviews
  • Manage diversification projects and strategic land use
  • Deliver secured lending and professional valuations
  • Ensure compliance with internal and client standards
  • Oversee a high-performing team and maintain strong client relationships
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Candidate Profile

    We're looking for a confident and capable professional with:

  • MRICS qualification (Rural pathway preferred), with 3-5 years PQE
  • CAAV membership or willingness to obtain
  • Proven experience across estate management and rural consultancy
  • Strong leadership potential and client relationship skills
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • A flexible and composed approach to working under pressure
  • A commitment to confidentiality and professional discretion
