Our client is a leading independent investment and advisory firm, exclusively focused on the Healthcare, Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sectors, they are now looking for an exceptional senior executive to join the leadership team with a clear trajectory to succeed the current CEO.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to step into a pivotal leadership role within a highly respected boutique advisory firm known for executing complex, high-value transactions across the healthcare ecosystem. Working alongside the founder and existing leadership, you will take increasing responsibility for client relationships, deal origination, transaction execution and firm strategy—with a defined path to assume the CEO position.
The Role
You will run the company and lead / execute M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates for healthcare, life sciences and pharmaceutical clients ranging from innovative growth companies to established multinationals. Beyond transaction work, you will shape the firm's strategic direction, build and mentor the team, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across the sector.
The Candidate:
- Substantial experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Finance or Corporate Development, with a consistent focus on Healthcare, Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals
- A strong track record of originating and executing transactions across the sector
- Deep relationships and credibility within the healthcare investment community
- Commercial acumen, entrepreneurial drive and the ambition to lead and grow a business
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop talent
- Outstanding communication skills and executive presence
