Job Summary:
Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Director, Medical Strategy – Oncology, to join our growing team.
The Senior Director will lead programmes across the ‘One Medical’ business, focusing on medical strategy in oncology, specifically breast cancer. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive team leadership experience, scientific expertise, and strategic thinking skills to define innovative strategies and ensure excellence in all deliverables. The role offers opportunities to specialize in content development, team leadership, team development, and strategic thinking.
What You’ll Do:
- Therapy area and scientific expertise: Lead internal programmes related to oncology across the global team.
- Strategic thinking: Develop strategies for new and complex business proposals in collaboration with senior team members.
- Client relationships: Act as a trusted advisor for clients and internal teams.
- Managing and advising: Lead and shape medical teams to deliver high-quality assets, fostering intellectual curiosity.
- Artificial intelligence (AI): Identify opportunities for AI integration and lead related programmes.
- Business development: Drive growth by identifying new clients and leveraging existing relationships.
- Strategic leadership: Develop industry best practices, publish thought leadership, and support business development.
- Strategy process leadership: Oversee research, analysis, insight development, and creative brief creation.
- Critical thinking: Understand industry dynamics from a Medical Affairs perspective and shape services accordingly.
- Client facilitation: Lead client meetings and workshops confidently.

- High academic achievement and excellent communication skills, including persuasive presentations.
Work Environment:
We have adapted our work model to support flexibility through our Hybrid and Regional Teams approach, with offices in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Manchester, and London. Employees are encouraged to work in-office at least two days a week if within a 45-minute commute. We also support remote work with quarterly in-person gatherings to foster collaboration and culture.
