About the Role

This role will ultimately manage Global Networks' partner relationships. The incumbent reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Networks and develops alignment with partner markets to meet contractual obligations. You will be accountable for partner contracting, renewals, fee methodology, and financials, as well as the partner champion for BCD sales acquisition activities. Your focus will be on business reviews and communications with Partners to ensure alignment on BCD's vision and direction, and drive awareness of BCD tools, technology, and Security/Compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and contribute to the strategic plans for the Global Network and gain support across the business for their successful adoption.
  • Represent BCD’s and its partners’ interests, fostering strong value propositions and ROI for both BCD and its partners, and drive strategic direction for innovation aligned to BCD's products and services.
  • Establish and communicate the key targets (annually) to effectively deliver the agreed Global Network strategy (e.g., introduction of new IT, new sales development).
  • Create and capitalize on new income stream opportunities, such as partner fee models, new supplier deals, and product sales to partners for use with local non-BCD clients.
  • Be an ambassador for global initiatives, driving support and compliance (e.g., Business Continuity Plans, IT Security).
  • Serve as a key intermediary between BCD-owned / specialist functions and partners.
  • Manage performance of direct reports and down-line employees.

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a Business/Financial/Language/Cultural studies discipline.
  • Extensive experience in a global corporate travel agency.
  • Experience with multinational sales, vendor relationships, combined with agency experience in operations and technology.
  • Direct involvement with worldwide travel networks and demonstrated successful global consolidation across procurement and sales.
  • Proficiency in conducting business in multi-cultural and multi-faceted domains to achieve win/win outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, presentations, public speaking.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly (short and long-haul), sometimes with limited notice.
