Summary: This position will be responsible for the development and execution of Metal Procurement strategies for the The Coca-Cola’s Cross Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG) – with a specific focus on EMEA. This role requires an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of delivering savings, leading complex regional/global multi-year contracts, managing diverse stakeholders, and securing the long-term health of the supply chain. The position reports to the Managing Director, Metals.

Deliver results supporting the System’s profitable growth while maintaining a robust/reliable supply networkLead and influence internal stakeholders to implement Metal strategies on a regional basis, while through collaboration w/ team capture our global buying power of our system.Assess current and future business environments to determine if changes in objectives are requiredDevelop Global Procurement Business Plans through leadership and ensure regional alignment and understanding of Business NeedsDevelop and execute negotiation strategies that deliver value against Coca-Cola System business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliersAnalyze complex business issues associated with contract negotiations using industry analysis and The Coca-Cola Company's historical experience to make business recommendations that mitigate riskAnalyze industry trends to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities that benefit the Coca-Cola systemLead Supplier Relationship Management partnerships that generate business specific objectives and execute against objectives to generate shared value between organizations, that include continuous cost optimization for the Coca-Cola SystemProactively contributes to the development/implementation of CEPG’s sustainable global strategies for Metal Packaging. Influence key stakeholders in the bottler system and within the Coca-Cola company up to the SVP/CPO levels. Lead a matrixed team of procurement and technical personnel from the bottling community on projects.Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes, technology decisions and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations by leveraging the volume of the Coca-Cola system.Build alignment with internal stakeholder groups of the sourcing strategy and procurement process for products/services to identify business needs and to ensure compliance with operational standards.Develop relationships with management of strategically important global and regional suppliers to support and enhance the supply strategies of the KO systemInfluence global suppliers to address critical supply issues that could cause business interruption if not resolved expedientlySupport regional bottlers teams w/ metal related issues.Qualifications & Requirements

Metal Packaging and/or Procurement: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and standardsCoca-Cola System Knowledge or similar Fortune 500 company: Operational awareness and experience (preferred) of supply chain functionsNegotiation skillsExperience with a defined sourcing model, (The 7-Step Sourcing process preferred)Strong analytical skillsStrong communication and presentation skills – including w/ senior suite executives.Stakeholder management skillsCategory specific Sustainability knowledge and passionContract negotiationCost ModellingSupplier Performance Management: efficient supplier performance management, including score-carding, best practice sharing, Operational Excellence applications and leadership relationship stewardshipSkills:
