About The Team

FIS’ Risk Business provides mission-critical software and services to institutions across many industry sectors across the globe. Within the Capital Markets division, we have launched a Climate Risk solution to help companies manage, understand and mitigate climate risks, as well as meet the upcoming disclosures requirements. You will be a part of a large Risk team with team members located across the globe, focusing on delivering leading solutions delivered as SaaS and supporting the latest risk techniques.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Director within the Risk Solutions Management and Strategy team you will be responsible for driving business strategy and meeting customer and industry needs. You will use your client relationship management skills to understand our client’s needs, establish credibility and build positive professional relationships. As Climate Risk is a dynamic, relatively new market you will be responsible for Go To Market activities, presenting at conferences on climate risk, working with industry partners, early adopters, customers and the overall strategy. The ideal candidate should have a detailed understanding of climate risk, weather perils, sustainability and the needs of corporates managing climate risks and reporting under upcoming climate disclosure requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading strategic discussions with clients globally to ensure the solution meets their needs, including regulatory considerations, risk management, and cost optimization
• Setting the strategy for the solution and coordinating with product development to deliver customer-focused outcomes
• Building strong internal relationships across the organization and collaborating with peers in other countries to drive growth and adoption
• Working with third-party partners regionally and aligning with internal teams (sales, customer experience, service delivery) on roadmap, strategy, education, regulatory environment, and capabilities
• Informing broader product needs and assisting other solution leaders with roadmaps and strategy across the Risk Management suite
• Owning Go to Market activities to support sales and revenue goals
• Managing an international role reflecting FIS’s global client base and demand for climate solutions
• Travel to meet clients, partners, and present at conferences on climate risk

What You Bring

• Strong knowledge of climate risk, through practical experience or advanced training
• Passion for climate and sustainability with commitment to client excellence
• Willingness to learn and stay up to date on climate risk modelling techniques
• Product management and Go To Market experience
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and at industry events
• Knowledge of current technology and trends relevant to risk systems
• Experience leading projects, engagements, people, and building global partnerships
• Excellent communication skills across all seniority levels up to board level
• Degree background, preferably with climate risk or advanced risk training or qualifications
• Experience working with large global teams
