Senior Managing Director- Campaigning

New Today

Job Description

We’re working with a leading consultancy that is looking to bring on board a Senior Managing Director to join its Campaigning practice. This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role, advising some of the world’s most influential organisations, driving new business, and leading a talented team to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns.

You’ll sit at the heart of a growing and highly ambitious practice that works across sectors, disciplines, and geographies. This is not a siloed role: you’ll have the scope to shape how campaigning is done for some of the world’s most high-profile brands and companies, from FTSE 350 firms to global private businesses.

You’ll act as a strategic partner to the C-suite, blending creative campaigning with corporate reputation advisory, while leveraging your own network to open doors and grow long-term client relationships. With responsibility for both revenue growth and talent development, this is a chance to leave a real imprint on the culture, direction, and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver sophisticated, multi-audience communications strategies that build and protect reputations.
  • Leverage your network to secure major new retained clients and generate sustainable, profitable revenue.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to C-suite leaders, guiding them through reputational challenges and change.
  • Translate insight into creative and disruptive campaign execution across earned, owned, and paid channels.
  • Ensure exceptional client delivery with a sharp commercial mindset.
  • Build and inspire a high-performing team, providing mentorship and inclusive leadership.
  • Champion integration across disciplines and drive innovation in campaigning and corporate communications.

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record in integrated campaigning and corporate communications, ideally with global exposure.
  • Strong business development skills, with a valuable senior-level network.
  • Expertise in corporate reputation management and stakeholder engagement at board level.
  • Financial fluency and confidence in engaging senior decision-makers.
  • Creative flair with a strong understanding of digital, social, and the evolving role of AI in reputation management.
  • Inclusive, collaborative leader with the ability to inspire, retain and grow top talent.
  • A hands-on, commercially sharp operator who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
