About the Role:

As the Shared Service Centre Director, you'll play a key role in managing, integrating, and optimising shared service operations. Leading a high-performing team in a multi-functional environment, you will implement strategies that deliver efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and transformative results. Key Responsibilities:

  • Shared Services Expertise: Bring proven success in leading shared services operations in a large, listed, or PE-backed organisation, ensuring world-class operational delivery.
  • M&A Integration: Experience in integrating operations from acquired businesses into a shared service function, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Operational Transformation: Lead multi-functional shared services operations or transformation initiatives, focusing on record-to-report, purchase-to-pay, and order-to-cash processes.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and execute process improvement strategies that drive efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness across financial and operational processes.
  • Technology & Automation: Optimise ERP systems and deploy automation tools/SAAS solutions to advance service delivery.
  • Data Transformation: Deliver success in financial data management, cleansing, transformation, and control processes to support decision-making and reporting needs.

    • Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven track record leading and developing scalable shared service operations in large, complex organisations.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with a history of inspiring and driving high-performing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build collaboration and align with various stakeholders.
  • A strong commercial and cost-control ethos, experience managing large cost centre budgets effectively.
  • Exceptional organisation and problem-solving skills, paired with a passion for delivering tangible results.
