Overview

I'm partnering with a leading financial organisation going through a major technology transformation and am looking to speak with Director-level SRE leaders interested in taking on a career-defining leadership opportunity to help shape how the company builds, scales, and operates services.

Responsibilities

This is a strategic, high-impact role which is ideal for someone with experience leading SRE practices at scale. You’ll take ownership of SRE across key areas working on several initiatives such as driving resilience, observability, and modern engineering practices across the business whilst working closely with senior leaders in engineering, architecture, and security.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding SRE/SWE and executing technical strategies
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build relationships and inspire collaboration
• Strong growth mindset and energised by solving complex systems problems at scale
• Knowledge of applications, services, and platforms such as cloud-native, event-driven architecture, and real-time systems
• Recent hands-on experience in software engineering
